Mihael Jeremić on Building Tailored Web Solutions That Drive Business Growth

Weblogic Studio started as a natural extension of a family-run accounting business and has since evolved into a provider of advanced, custom-built digital solutions for businesses across Europe. Today, director Mihael Jeremić sits dfown with Website Planet and shares how the company helps clients simplify operations through tailored software, seamless integrations, and a strong focus on long-term collaboration.

How and when was Weblogic Studio founded, and what problems were you trying to solve?

Weblogic Studio Ltd. was established as a result of many years of experience and expansion of services from the family business DKS & MWD, which was founded back in 2000. Initially, we focused exclusively on accounting services, but very quickly we recognized the need for digitization and improvement of internal processes. We began developing our own software solutions to automate everyday business operations and simplify business management — first for our own needs, and later for other companies facing the same challenges.

Over the years working in the Croatian market, it became clear that there is a significant demand for specific, complex digital solutions that are not “one-size-fits-all,” but rather tailored precisely to particular business processes. We identified this gap and decided to focus our activities on developing quality, functional, and modular web solutions that help micro, small, medium, and large companies in their digital transformation.

Thus, in 2015, as a step of further growth, the Weblogic Studio brand was founded. Today, we specialize in developing complex web shops with B2B and B2C functionalities, as well as creating custom software modules tailored to users’ needs. In addition, we offer bespoke digital solutions that integrate clients’ business processes into unified systems.

Our presence has expanded beyond Croatia over the years. Today, we actively collaborate with clients from Slovenia, Germany, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, and North Macedonia, and new markets continue to open. We are still guided by the same idea that started it all: to develop digital solutions that simplify business, increase efficiency, and bring real value to users.

What is your approach to services that might distinguish you from competitors?

Our approach is based on individualized client work — we listen to their needs, analyze goals and business processes, and propose the optimal solution. If among our existing ready-made solutions, there is one that meets the client’s needs, we use and adapt it. Otherwise, we develop a completely new solution from scratch, fully aligned with the specific requirements.

Besides software development itself, we provide clients with process support — advising them on how to further improve their business based on our experience in various industries. This broad range of knowledge, acquired through work across multiple sectors, allows us to approach every project with understanding and offer quality, applicable solutions, even for very specific or complex activities.

After delivering the solution, we do not end the collaboration — we train clients to independently use the system and provide ongoing technical support, maintenance, and options for further development in line with their business growth.

This combination of technical expertise, consultative approach, and long-term support is what most often sets us apart in the eyes of our clients.

How do your e-commerce website and online store solutions differ from your competitors’ solutions?

Our e-commerce solutions are not typical “off-the-shelf” systems based solely on CMS platforms and a bunch of plugins. Although we often use WordPress and WooCommerce as a foundation, that is just the starting point — further development is based exclusively on the client’s real needs. Each store is shaped according to the user’s specific requirements, and additional functionalities are developed with our own code, without relying on numerous plugins, resulting in a faster, more secure, and more sustainable system in the long run.

One of our key advantages is specialization in integrations with ERP systems, fiscalization, warehouse management, and B2B business models. This technical complexity that we successfully handle daily makes us different from agencies that only handle “surface-level” web shops.

Also, UX/UI design is done in-house, tailoring the user experience to the target audience, which significantly impacts ease of use, clarity, and conversions. Furthermore, we offer our own hosting under the Weblogic.host brand, delivering a complete solution — from concept to full implementation on our infrastructure, meaning a turnkey solution.

Our solutions are ready for scaling and additional features such as loyalty systems, subscriptions, connection with warehouse systems, multilingualism, and adaptations for international markets (currencies, tax models, etc.).

Finally, to complete the package, we offer SEO services to ensure that the solution not only functions technically but also achieves business results — visibility, traffic, and conversions.

What can you tell me about your SEO and marketing services?

One of our greatest strengths is that we do not view web solutions purely from a technical perspective, but also through the lens of visibility, traffic, and conversions. Many web developers excel at their craft but often neglect SEO and marketing, resulting in clients getting technically correct solutions — but without results. This is where we make a difference.

Besides developing technically stable and fast solutions, we often take over SEO optimization and marketing strategy analysis for clients, sometimes cooperating with, and sometimes substituting, marketing agencies that do not deliver results.

Although marketing is not our core service, we understand its importance and can identify where things are failing — especially when a client invests large budgets in advertising but results are unsatisfactory. In such cases, we take on the role of advisor and analyst, producing technical and SEO audits and clearly showing clients what doesn’t work and how to fix it — whether it’s poorly optimized content, wrongly set campaigns, or technical SEO flaws.

As a result, our clients receive a comprehensive solution — a technically sound platform ready for growth and a foundation for an effective SEO and marketing strategy.

You are also integrators of multiple software solutions. Could you explain that part of your work?

Within our business, we have developed our own modules and established partnerships with leading software providers. We are among the first official WSPay integrators, enabling us to reliably implement secure and efficient online payments for our clients.

Besides WSPay, we work on integrations with various ERP and business systems such as Luceed, Thor Monri, Synesis, Odoo, BBM, Zoho, and others. Our approach is to tailor each integration to the user’s specific needs, whether it’s connecting an online store with ERP, fiscalization, warehouse systems, or CRM.

Our goal is to automate business processes and reduce manual work so that clients can manage their operations more efficiently and receive timely information. These integrations create a connected system where different parts of the business communicate seamlessly, increasing productivity and reducing errors.

Is there anything else about your work you would like to share that we haven’t covered?

Besides classic web and e-commerce solutions, we have developed several specialized products and services that showcase the breadth and innovation of our team. One of them is Weblogic Events — an application designed to monitor attendance and entry of people at events in real time. The system allows hostesses to immediately record entries and segment visitors into categories such as regular, VIP, and others. What is especially important is that the system is scalable and updates status across all devices within milliseconds, enabling accurate and fast event management.

We also developed Weblogic Ads — an advertising server service for portals, where clients can advertise through our platform, and our system precisely manages campaign delivery within the specified time frame. Additionally, we offer campaign management services, with administrators ensuring the quality and efficiency of advertising.

We are particularly proud of our FIPO program, our own cloud fiscal and business solution for micro, small, and medium enterprises. This system supports issuing offers, invoices, delivery notes, and orders and includes modules for POS invoices, inventory accounting, auto service, reports, and work orders. A major advantage of FIPO is its availability on all devices, enabling clients to manage their business flexibly and easily. The service is subscription-based and continuously developed and upgraded.
